Pasta And.. is first of all, a family business…

The restaurant is owned and operated by the  Marenco’ s family , which are originally from Piemonte – north west region of Italy – and specifically from Rivalta Bormida, in the monferrato area.

Piemonte is worldly known for its beautiful sights scenes, wines, truffles, mushrooms and much more.

Luigi and Esperanza, the chefs / owners, owned a “PastaFresca” in Italy for about 20 years, a typical place where only pasta and sauces are produced, in a small town called Cassine.

Arrived in 2007 in the states, the family decided to continue with the tradition of the pasta, and this restaurant was the perfect way for sharing their experience with the community.

Chefs Luigi and Esperanza are the heart of the restaurant, bringing their cooking experience and pasta knowledge to florida , and Gian Marco, the son, runs the front of the house.

The uniqueness of this restaurant is the fresh homemade pasta – la pasta fresca  ; using simply the best ingredients and the same recipes kept in the family from several generation, the Marenco’s prepare daily more than 20 different types of pastas that ranges from the classic bucatini, pappardelle, gnocchi to the more refined raviolis , where the true heart of the piemontese culinary art excels.

Polenta, Trippa , Wild boar raviolis, Porcini mushrooms, Truffles, Agnolotti al brasato, are just few examples of our classic recipes, using the best seasonal products available from Italy; but it’s not only pastas, the menu offers a variety of risotto – strictly cooked at the moment – meats, such as the classic ossobuco alla Milanese, and fish.
